Based in Newcastle upon Tyne, we cover an area right across North East England installing our products.
RLM Windows Doors & Conservatories was established in 2007 by owner Ricky Macdonald. Ricky has a number of years as a fenestration installer and fenestration surveyor. After working for various local and national companies, Ricky discovered many flaws within the industry and decided to do his things his way and set up his own business.
Ricky oversees the day to day running of the business, manages surveys and does most of the house visits for quotations, which is why the company has such a good reputation, rather than dealing with salesmen, you deal directly with the owner.
In 2017 we changed our status from a sole trader to a Limited Company. Everything stayed the same within the business apart from the trading status. While in this transition period our Installation manager, David Macdonald was promoted to Managing Director. David has worked for RLM for a number of years and worked his way from apprentice to MD.
We are a FENSA Registered company and for added peace of mind you can also get an insurance backed guarantee on all uPVC installations through the GGFi.

Our fantastic Westmoor showroom is the heart of the business. In there you will be welcomed by our wonderful staff, in a relaxed environment without the hard sell. Our showroom staff will manage your appointments, order your products and oversee all the customer service aspects of the business. Amy and Jo are your first point of contact and are there to help at any stage of the process.
We have a new fleet of vans that are fully equipped with everything we need to carry out a professional installation on your property. Our vans are all fully sign written and always kept clean and maintained to the highest standard. We believe, clean vans, clean workers, clean job!
YOUR INSTALLATION WITH RLM
Our installation teams are ran by David, He will oversee the installation of your new products, making sure everything runs smoothly and on time. David will look after you when your new products are being installed.
Our installation teams are all directly employed by RLM and we don’t use sub-contractors for the fitting of your new products. All our staff are fully trained and hold the latest industry required qualification, Fenestration Installation level 1, 2 & 3. Our installation team are all DBS checked, experienced, fully uniformed and meet the high standards set by RLM.
